Door Switch for Refrigerator is installed on the inner side of the refrigerator door. The lamp uses the long closing contact of the limit switch to turn on or off the circuit of the lamp.
Maintenance method of refrigerator door switch:
Step 1: please check the bulb to see if it is burnt out. If not, press the button on the door switch.
Step 2: if the light is still on, clean the switch with a rag. Then remove the switch from the door frame. Remove the set screw hidden under the plastic trim, and then pry the switch out of the door frame with a screwdriver, or pry the trim of the door frame to expose the switch. Then test the switch with a multimeter set to rx1.
Step 3: clamp the two probes of the multimeter on the two terminals respectively, and then press the button. The meter should read zero. If the pointer on the dial points to a position greater than zero, there is something wrong with the switch and it needs to be replaced with a new switch of the same type.
Step 4: connect the new switch in the same way as the core
