How to classify led strips:

The flexible LED light band is assembled with FPC as the assembly circuit board and chip LED, so that the thickness of the product is only 0.1cm, which does not occupy space; General specifications include 18 LEDs, 24 LEDs, 15 LEDs, 24 LEDs, 30 LEDs, etc. There are also 60cm, 80cm, etc. different users have different specifications. 2. The LED hard light strip is an assembly circuit board made of PCB hard board. The LED can be assembled with patch LED or in-line led. Different components are used according to different needs. The advantage of hard light strip is that it is easy to fix, and it is convenient to process and install; The disadvantage is that it can not be bent at will and is not suitable for irregular places. 1. Indoor installation: when the LED light belt is used for indoor decoration, the installation is very simple because it does not have to withstand the wind and rain. Take the LED light tape produced by Guanghong electronics as an example. The back of each LED light tape is pasted with self-adhesive 3M double-sided tape. During installation, you can directly tear off the sticker on the surface of 3M double-sided tape, and then fix the light strip at the place where it needs to be installed and press it flat by hand. As for some places that need to turn or grow, it is very simple. The LED light band is a circuit structure composed of three LEDs in series and parallel. Every three LEDs can be cut and used alone.
2. Outdoor installation: outdoor installation will be exposed to wind and rain. If 3M glue is used for fixing, the adhesion of 3M glue will be reduced over time, resulting in the falling off of LED lamp strip. Therefore, the way of card slot fixing is often used for outdoor installation. Where cutting and connection are required, the method is the same as that for indoor installation, but waterproof glue needs to be additionally equipped to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.
3. Power connection method: the general voltage of LED lamp strip is DC 12V, so it needs to use switching power supply. The size of power supply is determined according to the power and connection length of LED lamp strip. If you don't want each LED light belt to be controlled by one power supply, you can buy a high-power switching power supply as the main power supply, and then connect all the LED light belt input power supplies in parallel (if the wire size is not enough, it can be extended), which is uniformly powered by the main switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be controlled centrally. The inconvenient place is that it can not realize the lighting effect and switch control of a single LED strip. The specific method can be measured by yourself.
4. Controller connection mode: the LED running light belt and RGB full-color light belt need to use the controller to achieve the change effect, and the control distance of each controller is different. Generally speaking, the control distance of the simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of the remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the longest distance can be controlled to 30 meters. If the connection distance of the LED light band is long, and the controller cannot control such a long light band, the power amplifier needs to be used for tapping.
5. Pay attention to the connection distance of LED lamp belt: Generally speaking, the longest connection distance of 3528 series LED lamp belt is 20m, and the longest connection distance of 5050 series LED lamp belt is 15m. If the connection distance is exceeded, the LED lamp belt is easy to heat, which will affect the service life of the LED lamp belt during use. Therefore, the installation must be carried out according to the requirements of the manufacturer, and the LED lamp must not be operated under overload.
