Safe To Join Chain? - Cruiser Log World Cruising & Sailing Forums
Mar 14, 2012 ... I cheaped out a few years ago and used a Suncor... Cost us a 110 claw... I don't use a swivel...all chain with a 176lbs claw, no issues and I anchor out a lot! As to adding some SS chain There are special links you can get to link chain but why add a weak link to a fairly critical system? K1W1, Mar 14, 2012.
