turbomap.ch – the platform for compressor maps and turbine maps

sa-charging solutions is a swiss based and privately owned company specialised in the development of engine charging systems. we provide turbocharger maps of automotive series production turbochargers measured on our in house hot gas testbench. compressor maps and turbine maps are used to evaluate the thermodynamic behavior of a turbocharger as a main element of a supercharged engine. they also represent a very important data set for 1-d engine process simulations (e.g. gt-power) usually used in early stages of the development process of an internal combustion engine, to achieve a well matched behaviour of the piston engine and turbocharger. the validity of such simulations is strongly depending on the quality of the turbomaps used. oncoming emission and fuel consumption regulations will further accelerate the need to develop advanced charging concepts as well as improved simulation tools and procedures.
