a contemporary art website for abstract painter laura menzies. menzies\' is based in falmouth, cornwall and created mixed, media paintings inspired by memories, emotions and her direct experiences of life. menzies builds up her paintings slowly in layers using a mixture of scraping, sanding and pouring techniques. she is also a trained art teacher and runs a number of creative painting workshops
